One of my favorite things about being a designer is seeing how quickly my skills grow. I don't mean that in an arrogant way at all, but I can't tell you how many times I've seen something from a year, a few months, or even a few weeks ago and thought about how much better I could do it now.

My love for floral patterns runs deep, but I used to be extremely intimidated by making them. Now that I've grown into my own style, they're one of my favorite things to make and once I get started I can't stop!

I also used to struggle with making patterns with colored backgrounds. It seemed like everything just looked better on white. Now I have a hard time deciding on just one color option, which is not a bad thing at all!
